I like driving. My favourite cars are Cadillac and Tesla. I do not have any of those but at least I have an access to an A class podcasts. The one sitting currently lt on Top of my list is the Diary of a CEO by Steven. He is one of the most humble and talented guys I have heard, bringing out the best in people he is interviewing - one of smartest people. The Diary of a CEO exists on YouTube and on Apple Podcast, as a physical book as well. You can choose based on your preference. As I drive and travel a lot, I sometimes switch between reading a book and watching Steven on Youtube. There are many great people sharing their views on different topics and reviewing the secret cause of what brought them where they are.
Here I will place in my personal view as a woman, the one episode with guest speaker Barbara Corcoran that truly inspired me. She is one of the most successful women in America - business woman, investor, television personality. Listening to her story from how she turned 1000 to 1 Billion and the force she has been since young age, the risks that she has taken, how she has dealt with and overcome some negative behaviours of the people and boyfriends who were also her business partners, to where she is today and what kind of employees she would hire in her companies, was truly inspiring. Though she is 74 years old, it is like you listen to a young leader of today who is truly there to excel and make a difference in women in business. The one thing I learned from her is take risks and have a positive attitude towards life. You can watch the whole video here.
More from her inspiring life I have found on Wiki: Corcoran was born in Edgewater, New Jersey, the second of 10 children in a working class Irish-Catholic family. Her mother, Florence, was a homemaker. Her father, Edwin W. Corcoran Jr., bounced from job to job throughout Corcoran's childhood. At times, her family relied on deliveries of free food from a friendly local grocer. Corcoran remembers her father as a man who occasionally drank too much and treated her mother with disrespect and condescension, particularly when he'd been drinking.
She struggled throughout her schooling, and was labeled the "dumb kid" by her teachers and classmates. She later learned that she had dyslexia. and has stated that the bullying "drove her to work harder and learn the skills she needed to succeed”
Some other favourite episodes of mine include “The Marketing genius behind Nike”, The Rita Ora episode for her story on how Jay Z signed her when she was 18 and “The Therapist behind world most famous artists like Justine Bieber and Miley Cyrus”. In this section I will be revealing more handful, truthful and not so popular podcasts you might actually find interesting.
