Do we still need to be in navigation of AI?

Yes, humans do still need to be in control of AI.    Especially when we say modeling complex projects, programming outputs, and space mission designs. Those require extremely precise and specific results that AI cannot always solve immediately.


But also, robotics. I have recently watched a video by a YouTube creator explaining the recent Optimus presence at the latest Tesla reveal event in California. According to him, the robots there did not seem to be real. First, let's define 'real.' Robots, even humanoid-like ones, are engineered machines designed to look exactly like humans or to provide better services in various fields and help us live a better life, or at least 30% improvement in every day life results contributing to a life full of bigger and brighter achievements. Technology is not human. On the other hand, technological advancement is so significant that we cannot measure the whole impact of data transfer, AI, and the neural networks created to even begin to understand it. Are we still in control, or do we just hope so? I think we are still and we should continue to be.


Machines, robots, and AI should exist to make our lives simpler to an extent where we are able to tackle complex tasks and questions, and leave the "boring ones" to them. I really wish Siri could better plan my days, instead of AI being integrated into our phones, connected to a global network, and letting it make decisions that are out of our control or senses. This could go a wrong way. I think there should be bigger resistance when it comes to the issue of having our smart phones being let by OpenAI.


Profoundly spoken about the universe, I think AI is capable of understanding matter. I believe it will come to a point where it could even suggest tremendous changes to, for example, prevent a collision between two galaxies. I really do think that AI is an extension of the human brain, and it will outgrow us in vision and empathy.


AI is especially awesome in medicine; actually, the areas where AI contributed the most directly, conducts operations, diagnoses, and robotic surgeries are much more precise and faster than what a human physician can achieve. Here, I would actually trustfully say that AI could, to a very high extent, maybe 70-80%, replace physicians, probably leaving room for them to conduct surgeries that are not as automated and why not focus more on research. This will drive further innovation and breakthroughs in solving diseases, cures, and certain off-label surgeries that could be the big thing tomorrow.


But right at the point where we might think AI can surpass my programming skills, it is not going to do so. Because imagine taking away from you the only thing you can do to a perfect extend? We need Humanoid robots.


Over and over again; there needs to be concise global rules when it comes to AI. Who will agree and who will not, is left to those with most power and influence. This is why we actually need the opinions of engineers, scientists, and more physicians' opinions at higher levels that can resonate. It is about balance. Solving global problems from now on isn't just about economic power, ideologies, religion, and free trade. All of these processes are now deeply dependent to advancements in human tools. All nations have become rich on knowledge of what is currently being worked on and provided for so many humans to profit. Technology is made to make our life simpler. And we should train it to do exactly that. Simplicity saves time, vision, character, and is defined by the ability to allow only what is essential to the bigger picture, which is an exciting future here on Earth and out there in Space. What do you think is fundamentally essential and therefore will make AI systems' advancement simple to understand and beneficial, not destructive, to civilisation?


The advancement of the world is thus a collaborative effort, with humans leading in vision, creative and strategic thinking, and ethical oversight, while technology provides the tools to realize these visions at scale, speed and with precision.
